January Environmental Tip Of The Month

Winter Recycling Tips

We would like to share these few winter recycling tips so you can begin or continue to go GREEN(ER) this even in the coldest season!♻️

-CLEANING OUT YOUR CLOSETS: You can donate your old clothing, shoes, jackets etc… to a local organization to be reused or recycled.

-GETTING RID OF OLD TOWELS OR BLANKETS: You can check with your local vet or animal shelter to see if they are in need of any.

-REDUCE FOOD WASTE: Winter months often lead to more food waste than other months. Aim to plan meals carefully, repurpose leftovers, and compost food scraps when possible. composting is a great way to reduce landfill impact during the colder months.

-STAY CONSISTENT AND ENCOURAGE OTHERS: Winter may lower motivation, but staying consistent with your recycling routine and sharing with family and friends your winter tips can help and motivate others to start or continue to do their best.
