Eagle Viewing 8 AM – 1 PM
Central will once again provide eagle watching opportunities to the public this winter starting on Dec. 27. Two facilities are free and open to the public every Saturday and Sunday from 8 am – 1 pm through Feb. 22.
Central’s J-2 Hydroplant south of Lexington and the Kingsley Dam facility both attract eagles as they are able to feed on fish in the open water below the plants.
