Memorial Day Observed – Library Closed
Memorial Day is a day of remembering the men and women who died while serving in the United States Armed Forces and, to a lesser extent, all people who have died.
Memorial Day is a federal holiday observed annually in the United States on the last Monday of May.
This differs from Veterans Day, a November holiday that honors the living who served in the U.S. Armed Forces; and Armed Forces Day, which honors those currently serving.
In observance of the holiday, Lexington Public Library is also closed Sunday, May 29, 2022.
