Veterans Day – City Offices Closed

Veterans Day is an official U.S. holiday that honors people who have served in armed service. Observed on November 11 each year, it coincides with other holidays such as Armistice Day and Remembrance Day, which are celebrated in other parts of the world and also mark the anniversary of the end of World War I.

Armed Forces Day is for those still in their uniform.

Veterans Day is for those who hung up their uniform.

Memorial Day is for those who never made it out of their uniform.
