Current Job Openings:

Police Officer (full-time)

Certified applicants will be required to complete the department’s field training program.  Non-certified applicants will be required to obtain Nebraska Law Enforcement Certification; be at least 21 years of age; a United States Citizen; the ability to work weekends, holidays, and nights as needed; possess a valid Nebraska driver’s license with a good driving record; possess a high school diploma or GED certificate. Temporary Seasonal Workers:  Parks and Recreation, Street

The City of Lexington Park and Recreation, and Street Departments are now taking Applications for Part-time Summer Help.  Positions fill fast and training begins in the spring, so get your application (see link top of this page) in right away! Applications will be accepted until March 11, 2022. Positions available include:

  • Concession Workers (age 14+)
  • Concession Managers
  • Lifeguards (age 15+)
  • Pool Managers
  • Park Maintenance (age 16+)
  • Street Maintenance (age 16+)
