Building Inspector, Community Development Department
The Building Inspector will assist the Community Development Manager and the City Manager with activities including but not limited to: building codes, zoning codes, property maintenance codes, subdivision codes, construction inspection and general maintenance of public facilities. ● Knowledge of building, electrical, mechanical & plumbing inspections
● Familiar with zoning regulations
● Ability to read blueprints
● High School diploma or GED
● Minimum 21 years of age
● Five years of experience in construction trades or 2 years of technical school.
● Valid Nebraska Drivers License
● Bilingual a plus
● Salary Range $18.50 – $24.60
Police Officer (full-time)
Certified applicants will be required to complete the department’s field training program. Non-certified applicants will be required to obtain Nebraska Law Enforcement Certification; be at least 21 years of age; a United States Citizen; the ability to work weekends, holidays, and nights as needed; possess a valid Nebraska driver’s license with a good driving record; possess a high school diploma or GED certificate. Must be of good moral character, no felony convictions, serious misdemeanors, domestic charges or dishonorable discharge from military service.
