Position:  Street Maintenance Worker

DepartmentStreet Department (Community Services)

Brief Description:

The Street Maintenance Worker will perform a variety of duties relating to repair and upkeep of the City’s streets, alleys, sidewalks, walks, etc., including street cleaning, grading and snow removal.

Qualifications:

 Ability to operate light & medium equipment, heavy trucks, tractor mowers, and other equipment

  • Familiar with street operations
  • Willing to obtain necessary licenses
  • Knowledge of the mechanical operation of diesel and gas-powered construction equipment
  • Ability to frequently lift up to 80 pounds
  • Ability to work well with others
  • Ability to follow directions
  • Valid Nebraska driver’s license – CDL a plus
