Youth Programming

Youth Tennis:
○ June: Open to 2nd grade through high school students.
○ Register online here: SUMMER REGISTRATION
○ September & March (Mondays): Available for Pre-K to 6th grade. This program is free and in collaboration with Lexington High School Tennis Teams.
 
Youth Golf:
○ Instruction available in June at the Lexington Driving Range.
○ Register at the Grand Generation Center or Online at: SUMMER REGISTRATION
 
 
Youth Baseball:
○ Instruction begins in April (register in March).
○ Games take place in May and June.
○ Part of the South Central Nebraska Baseball League

Community Activities

Parks & Recreation: Community Facilities & Park Shelter Reservations
Lexington boasts 8 public parks, plus a skateboard park, Family Aquatic Center, Lexington Fieldhouse, and Lexington Racquet Center and more. The City has more than 100 acres of recreational green space, including a growing network of hike-bike trails.

Swimming Pool
Lexington's Family Aquatic Center, 10th & Monroe, features a zero-depth pool with a water slide and other features, an Olympic-style pool and a splash pad.  The pool opens annually on Memorial Day weekend and closes the weekend before Lexington school resumes (usually a couple weeks before Labor Day). Regular summer hours are daily from 12:30 to 5:30 p.m.  Contact the Aquatic Center during those hours at 308-324-6288.

Skate Park
Lexington's Skate Park is at the southeast corner of Arbor Park near Plum Creek Parkway and Maple Street. The park boasts a 100' x 90' concrete surface with a 20-foot half-pipe, 3 quarter-pipes, a bank ramp, a jump ramp, pyramid, skate table, bench, tall box, rails & misc.
