Lexington Driving Range  – 1502 Airport Road
● Availability: Opens the end of March or the beginning of April (once water can be turned on for the season to clean the golf balls).

Lexington Grand Generation Center – 407 E. 6th Street
● Services Offered: Offers recreational, nutritional, educational, and social programs for community members aged 60 and above.
● Hours: Open Monday–Friday, from 8 AM–5 PM: Lunch served from 11:30 AM to 12:45 PM; with a suggested contribution of $5 for those 60+ and $7 for those under 60.

Lexington Family Aquatic Center (LFAC) – 1002 Monroe
● Season: Opens the first Tuesday after Memorial Day and closes the first week of August.
● Programs: Features weekly Adult Water Aerobics & Youth Swim Classes.

Lexington Fieldhouse – 1502 Airport Road
● Facility: 27,000 square foot artificial turf indoor sports building used for baseball, soccer, softball, tennis and more.
● Usage: Accommodates 12+ community-wide user groups.
● Programs: Offers year-round youth sports and adult leagues.

Lexington Racquet Center – 1110 Park Street
● Facility: 4 Tennis, 8 Pickleball Indoor Court Racquet Center
● Free Access, No Membership Required: Open daily and semi-seasonally year-round.
● Programs: Daily open tennis & pickleball times. Youth Tennis programming offered various times throughout the year.
● Leagues: Adult tennis leagues & drop-in pickleball and tennis.

Optimist Hitting Complex
● Facility: Indoor batting complex with driving range stalls
● Availability: Year-Round for Lexington baseball, golf, and softball programs

Lexington boasts 8 public parks & expanding city trails. The City has more than 100 acres of recreational green space, including a growing network of hike-bike trails.

Park Shelter Reservations
● Shelters Available for Reservations: Plum Creek Park, Kirkpatrick Memorial Park, and Veterans Pavilion
● No cost, but reservations are required.

● Arbor Park: Home to 100’ x 90’ Skate Park. Features 20-foot half-pipe, 3 quarter-pipes, a bank and jump ramp, pyramid, skate table, bench, rails and more.

● Centennial Park: Features a memorial wall, trail, and pedestrian bridge connection.
○ 100 W. Pacific Ave.
● Kirkpatrick Memorial Park: Home to the Lexington Family Aquatic Center, tennis courts, Veterans Pavilion, trails, futsal, and park shelter.

● Oak Park: Neighborhood park that features a splash pad, playground equipment and small park shelter.

● Optimist Rec Complex: Includes Baseball/softball fields, playground, trails, soccer fields, hitting complex, and home to the Lexington Fieldhouse.
○ 1601 W. 13th St.
● Patriot Park: Offers fishing & trails.
○ 2400 N. Airport Rd.
● Plum Creek Park: Includes a pond, trail, large playground, park shelter, sand volleyball, outdoor tennis courts, and home to the Lexington Racquet Center.

● Pioneer Park: Neighborhood park with playground equipment, basketball court and small park shelter.

Swimming Pool
Lexington's Family Aquatic Center, 10th & Monroe, features a zero-depth pool with a water slide and other features, an Olympic-style pool and a splash pad.  The pool opens annually on Memorial Day weekend and closes the weekend before Lexington school resumes (usually a couple weeks before Labor Day). Regular summer hours are daily from 12:30 to 5:30 p.m.  Contact the Aquatic Center during those hours at 308-324-6288.

Skate Park
Lexington's Skate Park is at the southeast corner of Arbor Park near Plum Creek Parkway and Maple Street. The park boasts a 100' x 90' concrete surface with a 20-foot half-pipe, 3 quarter-pipes, a bank ramp, a jump ramp, pyramid, skate table, bench, tall box, rails & misc.
