Lexington Utilities System provides electricity, water, and sewer services. Visit us at 406 East 7th Street, Lexington, NE  68850, during regular business hours Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., or contact us at (308) 324-2343, email [email protected].

You can pay 24/7 via phone by calling 866-279-3203.  You’ll need your account number, street address and credit/debit card number to make a payment.

DISCONNECTION PROCEDURE
The city of Lexington Utilities System follows Nebraska State Statutes 70-1601 through 70-1615 regarding the disconnection of electric utility service. Click here to see the state statute.

The re-connection service fee for non-payment is $40.00 during regular business hours, which are 8 AM to 5 PM Monday through Friday; and $80.00 after regular business hours.  For more information or to register a concern use the contact information above.

GREEN ENERGY – SOLAR
Some of Lexington’s electricity is generated by a 26,000-panel solar array northeast of Plum Creek Parkway and Commerce Road. Click here to view online analytics on the array’s operation.  As of 2021, a second, smaller solar array is in operation near the airport.

.WAYS TO PAY (contact LEXUS for more information or for help arranging):

• ACH – payment is automatically drawn from customer bank account on the 26th of every month.

• Cards – debit and credit card payments made in person or over the phone or through Web Access (see below).

• Drive Thru – checks or cards accepted at our convenient drive-thru window on the west side of the building, 406 E 7th Street.

• By Phone – Call 866-279-3203 and use your credit or debit card to pay 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

• Drop Box – located on the west of the municipal building at 406 East 7th Street. Checks Only!

• Walk In – visit our office at 406 East 7th Street.

• Web Access – pay online with debit or credit card – Right here
